Wet and Wild

Kite Flying

She's not too interested in the kite.

Chess wants to go to the playground.

So we did.

This pasta sure is good!

Outside

She's on the move.

I finally squeezed her feet into some shoes.

Chess, what are you doing with those rocks?

Lovely.

She still fits in her swing.

And she still likes it.

Inside

Round and round she goes; this is how we play inside.

She loves her tool bench and hammer (thanks, Andrea).

I can't resist that face.

This book seems to have caught her eye.

It's very interesting.

She can hear Daddy outside cutting the grass.

And now, checking out the cabinet of Tupperware I pick up about three times a day.

Play Date

Thanks Robin and Kaylin for coming over to play: we had fun!

Mother's Day (belated)

We went to baby Will's blessing on Mother's Day. Here is most of the family.

Here is my little family.

Walking All Around

Grandma and Grandpa wanted to see some more video footage of Chess walking around. Here is a short tidbit I took after church. She is getting more and more confident, falling less, walking faster, and wearing shoes more often (when I can squeeze her feet into them). Enjoy!

For a special five-year-old's birthday.

I am proud to say this is another project I created myself. I have seen things similar, but I used my own brain for this one. I hope she likes it.

Pigtails

Chess's hair has gotten pretty long lately, mainly in the back (mullet-style), so I thought I could get most of it up into pigtails...and it worked!

For a few hours anyway.

Azaleas

I just love this spring weather!
